Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase or delivered order, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

 

Returns & Refunds Policy

At SaleOutAfrica.com, we want you to shop with confidence. This policy explains how returns and refunds are handled on Africa’s Global Superstore and on our marketplace.


1. Eligibility for Returns

Returns may be accepted if:

  • The item is damaged, defective, or incorrect upon delivery

  • The return request is made within 7–14 days of receiving the item

  • The item is unused and in its original condition (unless defective)

Some items (such as perishable goods or personal care products) may not be eligible for return. This will be clearly stated on the product page.  To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and shipped to us via any DHL or GIG drop-off location anywhere in Nigeria (charges will apply).


2. How to Request a Return

To request a return:

  1. Contact us with your order number and reason for return

  2. Provide photos or evidence where applicable

  3. Wait for confirmation before sending the item back

Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.


3. Refunds

Once a returned item is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method

  • Refund processing time may take 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to seller or logistics error or a defective product.


4. Seller Responsibility

As a marketplace:

  • Refunds and returns may be handled directly by individual sellers

  • SaleOutAfrica.com may assist in dispute resolution where necessary


5. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items may not be eligible for return, including:

  • Perishable goods

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Items marked “final sale”


Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your bank or credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
